The School of Taxation and Business Law offers postgraduate students a range of coursework courses in the fields of Taxation (include Atax) and Business Law.
Master of Taxation
The Master of Taxation is a program designed for the tax specialist who is keen to gain deeper knowledge and who seeks career prospects. The program aims to develop an advanced taxation knowledge base and advanced professional skills in taxation, international taxation, revenue administration or taxation and financial planning.

The Master of Applied Taxation
The Master of Application Taxation has been developed in partnership with the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAA) exclusively for Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting (Grad DipCA) graduates. The program enables students to keep up to date with the volume and complexity of tax law.

Master of Taxation Studies
The Master of Taxation Studies is designed for graduates or early career professionals who intend to become a taxation specialist but who do not have a background in the Australian legal or taxation system. The program has two stages: the first stage covers core courses in law, taxation and accounting to ensure a good understanding of the Australian legal system as it applies to taxation. The second stage builds on this foundation to develop an advanced knowledge base and to further develop professional skills.

Master of Commerce/Master of Commerce (Extension)
The Master of Commerce provides high-quality education to graduates who are looking to further develop and broaden their skills and knowledge in business. It is designed for business and non-business graduates who wish to broaden or develop their business skills and knowledge, and early career professionals seeking career advancement or change.
Specialisations
Business Law
Business Law is a specialisation in the Master of Commerce program. It addresses the legal implications of business strategies across a range of key areas of contemporary commerce, including regulatory compliance, taxation, finance, franchising, trade practices, and intellectual property. This specialisation is aimed at students interested in legal issues relevant to commerce. It enables students to obtain general knowledge in a number of areas or to specialise within a particular area of Business Law.
