Research

Members of the School conduct individual and team research which often includes networks of scholars in North America, Europe and Asia.

Research funding has come from diverse sources including the Australian Research Council (ARC), and key private, public and cooperative bodies.

Our research is characterised by rigour, relevance and collaborative innovation.

Rigour

Our academics publish in high quality international journals and present their work at leading conferences such as the Academy of Management and the European Group for Organisation Studies.

Relevance

Our focus is on applied research that has a potential impact on the effectiveness of organisations and the well-being of employees.

Collaborative innovation

Our preference is for collaborative research that significantly advances particular research areas, stimulating others to pursue complementary studies and to make connections across the disciplines that comprise the field of organisation studies.
