Undergraduate course information

This is an introductory course surveying numerous management systems across the world. The objective is to enhance students’ understanding of the contextual factors influencing the practice of management around the world.

The course builds upon a generic framework comparing different aspects of the contexts (i.e., national level institutions and organizational-level practices) likely to affect the practice of management in different countries.

Students will:

• Gain a broader perspective on effective and appropriate practices in specific contexts
• Learn specific information regarding national & organizational contexts and practices in North America, Oceania, West Europe, Latin America, Africa & Muslim Countries
