Students may choose to study general Economics or focus on a particular major, such as business strategy and economic management or financial economics. A major designed for students with strong skills in mathematics is econometrics, which focuses on the development and application of quantitative methods to model everything from individual consumer behaviour through to the collective workings of the economy.
