About us

 

The School of Risk & Actuarial Studies, within the Australian School of Business at the University of New South Wales, offers globally recognised education and research in actuarial studies, risk management, superannuation and population ageing.

 

The School’s academic programs include an undergraduate Bachelor of Actuarial Studies, an Honours program in Actuarial Studies, a postgraduate Master of Actuarial Studies and Extension, a Masters of Risk Management, and a Master of Commerce (Risk Management).

 

Our actuarial programs cover the professional actuarial syllabus of the International Actuarial Association to the level of Associate Actuary. They are accredited by the Actuaries Institute in Australia and recognised by the UK and US professional bodies. They attract high quality local and international students.

 

We offer innovative programs in Risk Management and courses in Superannuation, areas of economic and financial significance to Australia and internationally.

 

Our teaching and learning programs are founded on our leading reputation in research in actuarial studies, risk management,  superannuation and population ageing issues.
