Roger Simnett receives the Australian School of Business Outstanding Research Supervision Award
Nominations for the awards were considered by a panel of nine people including a previous winner, a student representative, L&T specialists, an Associate Dean (Education) in an external Faculty, the Australian School of Business (ASB) Associate Dean (Education) and the ASB Dean.
The ASB Dean, Professor Alec Cameron said: "The judging panel were impressed with the way you have created foundations for others to engage in their own learning process. Your nomination highlighted that you have undertaken research supervision in a way that has built the self efficacy, enthusiasm and motivation of your students. The panel was of the view that securing you as a supervisor was a predictor of academic research success. Thank you for your hard work and dedication in undertaking this important role."
