Interested staff and research students are invited to attend a one day Financial Reporting Research Camp to be held on May 20, 2005. Four papers will be presented in workshop format, with the opportunity for significant discussion and questioning of the presenters. Paper presenters are Irem Tuna (Wharton), Pete Clarkson (Queensland), Scott Richardson (Wharton) and Stephen Taylor (UNSW). The venue is the UNSW Blockhouse Conference Centre, located adjacent to the main entrance from Anzac Parade.
This research camp will be held with the financial support of the UNSW School of Accounting, the Accounting and Audit Quality Program within the Capital Markets CRC and the UNSW Auditing and Assurance Research Centre. A detailed program is attached. There is no charge for attending, and all attendees will be provided with morning and afternoon refreshments, as well as lunch and closing drinks.
Those wishing to attend are asked to register with Ms Nora Chee in the UNSW School of Accounting (tel 9385 5816, email N.Chee@unsw.edu.au). Unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate attendees who do not pre-register.
Copies of papers will be available from the School of Accounting web site approximately 1 week in advance of the research camp, and attendees will be responsible for obtaining copies of the papers themselves.
