Dr. Young Un Kim is Lecturer of Management at the Australian School of Business. She currently teaches Value Creation in the Masters of Commerce program and has experience teaching and assisting undergraduate, MBA, eMBA Strategic Management and Leadership courses.
Young’s research focuses on the role of boards of directors, top management teams, and CEOs. Her current research examines CEO succession, corporate governance, and organizational change of firms in turnaround situations. She is especially interested in why organizations vary in their responses and speed of response to various forms of feedback.
Young worked as an international project manager for Samsung’s network division in South Korea before she commenced her PhD study. She received her PhD from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Strategy and Entrepreneurship.
