Kevin Liu is Lecturer at the School of Risk and Actuarial Studies, Australian School of Business.
Kevin has research interests in the areas of superannuation and retirement income policy. Current research interests include superannuation outsourcing, operation and performance of superannuation funds, governance and regulation of superannuation funds, retirement saving choices and decision making.
Kevin was awarded a Capital Markets Cooperative Research Centre PhD Scholarship; the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) was his industry partner. He worked full time in the research team at APRA during his PhD candidature, focusing on empirical research into superannuation. Kevin's research forms the basis for a series of working papers published (or soon to be) on the APRA website. Kevin has also served on a policy-related APRA Super Reform working group stemming from the recommendations of the Cooper Review.
