Program description:
The Bachelor of Information Systems prepares students for technology focused information systems (IS) careers, which are essential in developing and implementing information technology solutions for business. The program teaches you about the technical environment of IS as well as you giving you the knowledge to understand the business implications of these systems.  You will learn about business systems analysis and design, data management, business systems infrastructure and security, as well as mathematics and management accounting, and commercial programming.

Program structure:

The Bachelor of Information Systems is a 3-year degree program consisting of 24 courses (144 UOC). The program includes:

 

  • Core courses
  • One major in Information Systems
  • Compulsory courses in Mathematics and Computer Science
  • One course from: Actuarial Studies and Commerce; Microeconomics; Information Technology; Law; and Managing People.
  • General education courses
  • Elective courses
