We place a high value on the sense of community amongst our students. Students can get involved by joining one of the many social or industry-aligned clubs, all of which have formal and informal events throughout the year.
AGSM Student Society
The AGSM Student Society is the student elected body which has student driven oversight over general affairs concerning the AGSM full time student population.The body works as a bridge between the student population and the administrative body. Duties revolve around student representation at executive meetings, stewardship of the program and instigating new mechanisms to improve the experience of an AGSM student. Reaffirming the AGSM culture is also a core part of the AGSM Student Society.

Alumni Relations Manager (ARM)
The Alumni Relations Manager (ARM) is a member of Student Society. The ARM connects students to Alumni. One of Student Society’s main objectives is to reinforce the communication channels between Alumni groups and graduating students. Through strong Alumni relations AGSM students effectively connect with people in industry. They learn about new career paths, develop mentorships, and position themselves for post-graduation. The ARM fosters this relationship.

Established in March 2012, AGSM Chinese Alumni Association (CAA) association is the part of ARM and it aims to bring back all the Chinese alumni either in China or in Australia and acts as a networking platform. Consulting Club
The Consulting Club is one of the largest student run clubs at AGSM. It provides students interested in a consulting career with information about the industry and consulting firms in Australia. The Club works with our alumni in consulting firms to provide opportunities and resources for its members to gain successful entry into management consulting careers. Finance Club
The club has two principal goals. Firstly, it aims to broaden and strengthen the finance knowledge of its members. Secondly, it will assist student understanding of the current financial services landscape and associated career opportunities. More specifically the club aims to organise information and networking events, enable participation in trading games, and use the finance club website as a forum to facilitate further learning.

Innovation, Commercialisation and Entrepreneurship (ICE) Club
The ICE Club is an entrepreneurial network that provides the AGSM community with a platform for the development of entrepreneurial spirit. ICE’s objective is to define and inspire entrepreneurship in the minds of every student and provide them with access to skills and resources to develop their ideas in readiness for commercial reality. Via guest speakers, competitions and a mentoring program, ICE provides students with an understanding of a wide variety of entrepreneurial processes not forgetting the rewards and challenges that are a natural part of idea activation. Clean Energy and Sustainability Club (CE&S)
Carbon policies, renewable energy and sustainability issues are becoming increasingly important worldwide. SCE is a discussion forum aiming to develop practical understanding of the global and regional carbon policies, basics of carbon finance, renewable energy and energy efficiency issues, various business-related aspects of climate change, ecology and sustainable development. Practical knowledge obtained through learning sessions and presentations of guest speakers will help future leaders steer their businesses in a modern carbon-constrained and sustainability-driven environment.

Leisure Club
The leisure club’s aim is to promote relaxation and fun by building relationships inside and outside of the cohort. It mainly consist of the sports and food and wine club, which allow the cohort to enjoy a variety of sports and exposure to different culture through food, celebrations, and knowledge about the industries.
