Non-award/Cross-institutional study

AGSM MBA Programs offers non-award/cross-institutional study within the Graduate Diploma in Management (5950) and Graduate Certificate in Change Management (7315)

Under special circumstances students may apply to undertake elective courses within the full-time AGSM MBA program (8350), this may require additional documentation such as a successful Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score and interview component.

Non-award enrolment refers to all enrolments in courses, or a sequence of courses, which do not lead to or count towards a formal award (eg, degree or diploma) of the University of New South Wales.

Non-award enrolments fall into two categories:

  1. Voluntary
  2. Cross-institutional

Cross-institutional enrolment is where a student enrols in a course at UNSW for credit towards an award at another Australian tertiary institution in which the student is concurrently enrolled.

Before an application for cross-institutional enrolment can be approved, the student must submit the home institution's written confirmation that the course/s applied for will be credited towards their degree. Local students also need to include details of their current fee status ie, Commonwealth Supported or Tuition Fee paying.

Applications are taken for non-award/cross-institutional study on a rolling basis depending on which teaching period you wish to undertake the course.

AGSM MBA Programs offer a variety of courses through the year. Please refer to the AGSM MBA Programs' course calendars for detailed information on session dates and course offerings.

Please refer to the table below to see which teaching period code you should be referring to when filling out the application form.
