For the past 15 years, Denise has worked as a trainer and coach in a range of industries including aviation, construction, engineering, health services and manufacturing.

She has a Communications & Public Relations Degree (Kansas State University), a Masters Degree in International Studies (University of Sydney), a Masters in Organisational Coaching (University of Sydney) and a  Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Psychotherapy and Counselling (Jansen Newman Institute).

 

Denise is an adjunct faculty member with the AGSM in the Australian School of Business (ASB) at the University of New South Wales. At the AGSM, Denise teaches on the fulltime and MBA (Executive) programs and is the Alumni Mentor Program Director. In 2005, Denise received the prestigious Dean’s Alumni Service Award to become an Honouree AGSM Alumni, one of only six people to be granted Honouree status in the school’s 30-year history. Denise has also researched and worked towards her PhD on the effects of organisational change on workers in the New South Wales Department of Community Services.

 

Professional qualifications to support her coaching, training and consulting work include accreditation in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Team Management Systems, Hogan Assessment Systems, Emotional Competence Inventory, Situational Leadership and Advanced Skills in Mediation. She holds a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training and is a member of the International Coaches’ Federation.

 

Denise’s academic training and corporate work is balanced with her personal and professional interest in sport. She played and coached basketball professionally in over 20 countries for 10 years and is a certified personal fitness and lifestyle trainer in the United States and Australia. For her contributions to women’s sport, Denise was inducted into her school’s Hall of Fame in 2007.

 

She brings those same personal qualities and energy responsible for her athletic success to her training and consulting work.
