The Student Development Office (SDO) provides postgraduate students at the Australian School of Business with quality programs and activities, leadership experiences and experiential learning opportunities through the:

Key objectives
- Community and collegiality: Developing community and collegiality within the postgraduate student body and between students and other stakeholders, eg UNSW staff, alumni and the business community
- Networking and integration: Providing postgraduate coursework students with ample opportunities for networking and integration to help develop social relationships
- Orientation and transition: Providing support to postgraduate coursework students in their orientation and transition to the Australian School of Business and UNSW
- Involvement and engagement: Increasing the level of involvement and engagement by postgraduate coursework students in co-curricular programs and activities
- Graduate attributes development: Providing postgraduate coursework students with opportunities for personal, social, professional and organisational development
- Student diversity: Promoting and increasing student diversity in co-curricular programs and activities
- Reward and recognition: Recognising, rewarding and disseminating outstanding performance in the planning, organisation and management of co-curricular programs, projects and activities by student groups and individuals
- Corporate partnership: Building integrated corporate partnerships between the postgraduate student body and corporate sector

The SDO is located on the ground floor of the West Wing in the Australian School of Business building (UNSW map location E12).
