Careers Month
Careers Month, held in September each year, provides employers with the opportunity to present and talk with MBA students.
While Careers Month is primarily designed for companies to profile themselves and make offers to students for post-MBA roles, the month also provides a forum for companies to seek student interns.
Format
Companies are invited to conduct an information session with MBA students and these are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Sessions are 90 minutes in duration and are split between a formal presentation and a networking session with students, over refreshments (if you select this option).
The formal presentations generally take place in one of our lecture theatres at UNSW’s Kensington campus. The theatres are fully equipped with audiovisual facilities.
Other venue options include the company’s own office or the UNSW CBD campus, which has theatres available for hire.
Logistics
There is no charge for participating in Careers Month, or for any of the associated marketing, response-handling or administrative services provided by the Career Services team. However, any catering arrangements will need to be covered by the company.
