Volunteering your time is a great way to reconnect with your university, meet current ASB students and impact the next generation of business talent. There are a number of ways you can volunteer and give back to the School.
Speaking opportunities
Regular opportunities exist for ASB alumni to speak at student career information evenings. These events expand students’ knowledge of business industries and career opportunities, while helping to prepare them for the study to working life transition.
We seek alumni keen to share their career story with students who want to learn about what the workplace is really like. Career information evenings generally take the format of a moderated panel of speakers and no preparation is required on the part of alumni.
If you are interested in speaking at an upcoming student event, please fill out our expression of interest form.
Student mentoring
The Australian School of Business runs two mentoring programs where alumni can get involved and support a current student. The ASB Career Mentoring Program pairs alumni with penultimate undergraduate and postgraduate students, while the AGSM SMY mentoring program matches AGSM alumni with an MBA student in their final year of study.
