• Founder and Executive Chairman of the Toga Group of Companies engaged in construction, real estate investment, hospitality and aquatic farming
• Served 3 years on the Queensland Ministerial Advisory Committee on Aquaculture
• Served a four year term on the CSIRO Meat, Dairy and Aquaculture Sector Advisory Committee
• In 1993 received an Order of Australia (AM)
