Anthony Harrington (Tony) was the Global Leader for Strategy at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) from 2008 until 2010. Prior to this appointment, Tony was the Senior Partner and Chief Executive Officer of PwC Australia.
 
Tony joined the Australian firm in 1975 and became a partner in 1987. He has held a number of senior management and client advisory positions with the firm in both Sydney and Melbourne, including Deputy Chairman and Tax & Legal Services managing partner.
 
Tony is a member of the Business Council of Australia, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and a fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia. He is also a director of The Australian Charities Fund and former chairman of the PwC Foundation, which he helped set up to encourage workplace giving.
 
He was awarded an AM in the 2011 Australia Day honours 'for services to the community through a range of philanthropic and charitable organisations'.
