About the Australian School of Business
The Australian School of Business at UNSW is Australia’s leading business school and a powerhouse of business education and research in the Asia Pacific region.
The School was established in 2007 when the Faculty of Commerce and Economics at The University of New South Wales merged with the Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM), to form the Australian School of Business. Both the former Faculty of Commerce and Economics and the Australian Graduate School of Management had been offering high quality business programs for many decades, with the Faculty opening to students in 1955 and the AGSM in 1977.
The Australian School of Business offers business education for all career stages, encompassing undergraduate programs and postgraduate coursework, research training, the AGSM MBA, the AGSM Executive Programs and lifelong learning opportunities.
What makes us different is our unwavering focus on high impact research and student centered learning, our close industry links and the internationalisation of our people and programs. We attract teachers, researchers and professional practitioners who are global leaders in their fields, and we enjoy the privilege of attracting the best and brightest students.
Located in a new state-of-the-art building at UNSW's Kensington campus, the Australian School of Business is 4.5 kilometres from the world famous Bondi Beach and 6 kilometres from the Sydney Opera House and Sydney's Central Business District.
